VERSATILITY TEST: CONFORMATION TEST
REQUIREMENTS
Vizslas must be at least six months of
age to participate in this test.
Judges are not to determine whether the
Vizsla is of championship caliber but it should be an overall good
representative of the breed and must reflect the qualities of a
purebred Vizsla.
Vizslas taking this test must conform to the
current Vizsla Standard and shall be measured each time they are
judged to assure that they are within the height requirements for the
breed. An AKC wicket must be used and score sheets marked accordingly.
Dogs taking this Test must score at least
fifty percent (50%) in each of the following categories and must have
an overall score of sixty (60) points out of a possible one hundred
(100).

Should the Vizsla have a serious, but not
disqualifying fault, the judge may at his/her discretion score the dog
less than the required 50% in that category thereby failing a dog that
is not a good overall representative of the breed.
Measurements taken before age 18 months will
not qualify for a Conformation Certificate but must be totaled in the
overall score. Passes between 12 and 18 months will count but the
Vizsla must be measured at 18 months or older. Champions of record or
other Vizslas that qualify for a Certificate need be measured only
once but must be at least 18 months. (Revised September 1988)

pads, dew claws.
