Vizsla Rescue
Sad but true, vizslas end up in rescue. At Christmas, a family buys a cute vizsla puppy from a pet store at the mall, only to realize this energetic pup is more than they can manage come New Year's. People move and can't take their dog with them. An elderly person dies and leaves a vizsla behind, without care instructions.

The VCA National Rescue Committee, chaired by
Kate Payneoversees a network of volunteer coordinators to return these vizslas to their breeders whenever possible or to place them in new, safe homes. Please contact the  regional coordinators listed below for assistance. They will be glad to tell you more about the breed and put you in touch with a local coordinator in your area.

If you need immediate assistance, please email vcarescue@yahoo.com. This email account is checked 24/7.
