Welcome to the official website of the United States Lakeland Terrier Club, Inc. The United States Lakeland Terrier Club, a non-profit member of the American Kennel Club, was originally formed in southern California in 1954.  It is the parent club of the Lakeland Terrier breed in the United States. As such, it is the organization which is responsible for the preservation and advancement of the interests of the Lakeland Terrier and to encourage sportsmanlike competition at dog shows, obedience, agility trials, field and hunting events, and other types of performance competitions; and to support rescue/adoption activities.
