| STCA members sponsoring new
applicants MUST KNOW the applicants, their feelings about the breed,
their breeding and selling practices, and their treatment of dogs, etc... |
| All members sponsoring a new
applicant must complete the Sponsor's Questionnaire. When completing the forms,
the sponsor must consider the following: |
| To be considered for
membership an applicant must: |
| a Have
demonstrated adherence to the policies as described in the STCA Code of
Ethics |
| b Be sponsored by two
current STCA members in good standing from two separate households who have
known the applicant for one year. |
| The STCA members sponsoring
the applicant must: |
| a Have had ongoing
interaction with the applicant for one year |
| b Be willing to provide
accurate information on the questionnaire and additional information on the
questionnaire and additional information or clarification if requested by the
STCA Board of Directors |
| c Not sponsor an
applicant in their immediate family, nor anyone who lives in the same
household |
| d Not be related to the
other sponsor or live in the same household as the other sponsor |
| If this is a family membership application,
all family members must be covered in these questions. If one is active, and
the other is not, please state that fact. |
