Dentistry is an area affecting our dogs throughout their
lives. This discipline goes beyond good tooth care
during adulthood. It starts when we check to assure the
teeth properly emerge as a puppy and continues with care
during adulthood to prevent end organ damage later in
life. Beyond these topics, Dr. Hermann will also address
genetic considerations for the breeder.
As background, Dr. Hermann has a veterinary practice at the
Animal Dental Clinic in Norristown, PA. As a graduate of
the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School and a member
of the American Veterinary Dental Society, he is in the
Alternate Pathway Program for the American Veterinary Dental
College with Dr. Ben Colmery as his mentor.
