NOTE:
There will be a $50 service charge made for every NSF check received for

Advertisers, please note:
The
Bagpiper cannot be responsible
for the accuracy of any ad copy which is not submitted typewritten and
where instructions are not clearly identified. Handwritten ads and instructions
need to be legibly handwritten.
Please give
directions as to how you want your ad to look, i.e., feminine, conservative,
festive, etc. If a requested typeface cannot be duplicated, a computer
typeface will be substituted that matches as close as possible.
There is no
additional charge for placing your line art and logos in ads. Please note
that Artwork, Logos, etc. that are not submitted in a "sharp" or "clear"
format cannot be clearly reproduced.
Please send
the original photograph for advertisements. No p.m.t., re-screens, or
color copies. Photo clarity can not be reproduced without the original photograph.
If
advertisers wish to have photographs returned, they must
include a self-addressed, stamped envelope with their ad.
When submitting ad copy,
please use one of the following three options:

1. Ad copy may be sent to the following U.S. address:

please check the box that
indicates "no signature is required."
Ads sent to this address must be received by the 13th
of each deadline month.
All packages must include a self-addressed, stamped mailer
envelope (SASE) if photographs are to be returned (estimated
postage is approximately $1.09 for two photos).
Susan will package all of the ads received on or before the
13th and send them to Canada by courier in time to meet the
deadline. After the magazine has been published, photos will
be returned to the U.S. to be put in their SASEs and then
individually posted from the U.S.

2. Ad copy may be sent by Regular Mail to the following
Canadian address:

Ads sent to this address must be received by the 15th of
each deadline month. Regular mail usually takes about two
weeks from the U.S. to Canada. Again, a self-addressed,
stamped mailer envelope will be required if photos are to be
returned.
3. Use FTP to submit your ad copy electronically:
If you prepare your own ad copy, you can use FTP to
transfer your ad copy directly to The Bagpiper.
The ftp site is
ftp.bagpiperads.com To use the site, you
will need to contact the Bagpiper Editor, Marg McQuinn
(E-mail:
hopscotch@accesscomm.ca ), to obtain a Login Name and
Password for the site. Advertisers should also send
Marg an e-mail once they have finished uploading their ads
to the site.

Application), you may want to read an article written by Cindy

on how to get CuteFTP and configure it to access the
Bagpiper FTP site.
4. Ad copy may be sent by Courier to Canada:
