Francis G.
Lloyd -- The Man of the Trophy
by Richard E. Hickman
This is a brief history of the man for whom our most
prestigious annual award is named. The award has been
offered each year since it was first won by Ch. Albourne
Beetle in 1921. The article concludes with a statement that
the award was most likely named after Lloyd because of his
record as STCA President which helped to put the club on a
firm foundation.
