		The History of The Skye Terrier Club of America The Skye Terrier Club of America (STCA) was founded in 1938 to protect and preserve the Skye Terrier. Our AKC member club is comprised of responsible breeders, owners, and exhibitors of Skye Terriers. Recognizing that the quality and reputation of all Skye Terriers rests solely in the hands of their owners, breeders, and exhibitors, the members of the Skye Terrier Club of America abide by and are guided by a Code of Ethics.



			*Membership In The Skye Terrier Club of America*

A person wishing to apply for membership to the STCA can request a membership packet from the Membership Committee Chairman. Included in the membership packet will be an application form, a code of ethics, the constitution and by-laws, instructions on how to apply, and a description of how the membership procedure works. A prospective member must be sponsored by two current members in good standing. They must fill out the entire application and send it with the membership dues and sponsorship letters from each sponsor to the membership chairperson. Applications and sponsorship letters must be signed and date. Contact the Membership Committee Chairman with any additional questions you might have.



	*Skye Terrier Club of America Handbook* The STCA Handbook contains detailed information about the breed including history, art, breed standard, grooming, training, showing and more.
