AMERICAN SEALYHAM TERRIER CLUB
RESCUE SERVICE
We are grateful that there are few Sealyham Terriers that require rescue during the course of a year from shelters or pounds but it does happen. We also assist owners who are unable to keep their Sealyham due to illness, disability, or family situations of crisis. The club has a dedicated fund, the Choate Memorial Fund, to finance these rescues.
Our Rescue Chairman handles all inquiries about possible rescue dogs, and has a committee of assistants throughout the country. In addition, she maintains a list of those interested in taking rescue dogs into their home.
