AMTC Membership

We are people like yourself, who are interested in increasing our knowledge and in preserving the standard and special qualities of the Manchester Terrier (MT).  We believe that the greatest benefit is the camaraderie between like minded individuals who are passionate about the MT, and who are working together to give the breed the worldwide recognition it deserves.  Membership shall be open to all persons 12 years or age and older who are in good standing with the American Kennel Club and who subscribe to the objectives and purposes of this club. Junior membership is open to Juniors 12 to 18 years of age.  Juniors may apply for full Membership at 18 years of age.  Yearly membership dues are family $35, single $30, and junior $20.  Join the membership.  The AMTC Club newsletter is one of the ways we keep you informed about upcoming events and successes.  You do not need to be a member to subscribe. It is also a good source for canine care tips, legislative concerns, and virtually anything related to our breed.  Learn how to subscribe

Benefits

All activities sponsored by AMTC are accomplished by the time, effort and expertise donated by AMTC members.  The AMTC is a dues based club that relies on membership dues to pay the expenses incurred in accomplishing our mission, as well as in providing benefits to our members. We are a non-profit organization, so all of the dues are used to further the cause of the Manchester Terrier and the AMTC, and NOT for the financial benefit of one officer, member, or group of officers or members. Your money works for you and your dogs. 

Every year, the AMTC holds a National Specialty rotated by District. There are dinners, silent auctions, raffles full of Manchester Terrier items. The Regional Specialties too, have a wide variety of associated events for the MT lovers there, whether they're showing a dog or not.

By joining the AMTC you will benefit from

• Supporting AMTC sponsorship to AKC Licensed Specialty Show and Matches

The AMTC offers a subscription service to our newsletter (published Feb, May, Aug and Nov) to those who are interested in club activities but who cannot fulfill the membership requirements or who are not interested in active participation or the benefits of membership. Not only will you hear from Club members’ awards and accomplishments but more importantly, we hope to promote our breed, educate the public and enables you to hear the many great activities and joys of owning a Manchester Terrier.
