I want to start out with what an honor and privilege it is to be taking on the position of President. We have a wonderful group working for you on the board with Judy Brown and Kathy Lee joining this year. We all want to thank Jean Cave Pero and Valerie Seeley for all of their years they dedicated to the GPCA Board of Directors, they will be missed tremendously.

Hats off to the Arizona club. They did a wonderful job hosting the 2007 National Specialty, we all need to thank them for all of their hard work and wonderful hospitality. The grounds and hotel were outstanding, with lots of grass and wonderful food, I know I took advantage every morning with the full breakfast and I saw many enjoying the appetizers and spirits at happy hour. With the sun shining every day I don't think anyone could have asked for more. The venue for the show was outstanding with lots of shade and even a breeze to make everyone's day. Congrats to all of the winners. The Rescue Wall of Honor was a nice touch, you were able to spend the time looking at all the stories and touching photos.
