Let's start the New Year off with a “BANG”!!

I know in the past we have mentioned that we are looking for a Bulletin Editor, Darrell was kind enough to step in and get the ball running with our new publisher. Now the time has come for Darrell to pass the reigns on to a new member, if anyone is interested in this position please contact one of us on the Board.

It was a pleasure for me to be able to attend the AKC Eukanuba show this past December. The Great Pyrenees that were exhibited and the ones doing their P.R. work at the Meet the Breeds booth were outstanding. It was a thrill to see our breed represented so beautifully.

Your Board and Committee Chairs have been busy updating all the GPCA guidelines and procedures, we hope to have this all accomplished by the 2010 World Conference. Speaking of the 2010 World Conference, which is also our 75 th National Specialty, I hope to see everyone there.

This has been another year where our Nominating Committee for the GPCA Board of Directors has done a great job. With no nominations from the floor, we will welcome back with open arms Judy Brown and Kathy Lee, with a new comer to the Board, Jo Stubbs. The GPCA is very lucky to have such a wonderful and diverse group of individuals working for them.
