BOARD ACTIONS

*Motion by Bret Zacher, second by Flo Laicher; that the Board only accept nominations for the GPCA Board of Directors received by the January 1 deadline, per GPCA policy. Further, that we advise any applicant that submits a nomination after January 1 of the time line and that nominations can be received anytime after the National Specialty Annual Meeting for the upcoming year.
Motion passed unanimously.

*Motion by Flo Laicher, second by Brenda Weiss; that the Board sign the contract for layout, design and print; and approve pricing by Doug Hill for printing and mailing of Bulletin issues.
Motion passed unanimously.

*Motion by Judy Brown, second by Bret Zacher; that Darrell Goolsbee, as Bulletin Editor, be offered a stipend of $75 per issue.
Motion passed unanimously.

*Motion by Kathy Lee, second by Bret Zacher; that we accept revision #5 of the new Bulletin Editor contract.
Motion passed unanimously.

*Motion by Bret Zacher, second by Flo Laicher; that the originally approved stipend of $600, to be paid to Bulletin Editor, Kathleen Monje, be reduced to $50, reflecting the level of service received by GPCA regarding content and timeliness.
Motion passed. Voting yes – Bret Zacher, Flo Laicher, Judy Brown, Kathy Lee and Tami Green. Voting no – Christine Palmer-Persen, Brenda Weiss. Abstaining – Kerry Kern Woods.

*Motion by Judy Brown, second by Bret Zacher; that the Board mail to past Bulletin Editor, Kathleen Monje, a letter clarifying expenditures. Motion passed. Voting yes – Kathy Lee, Flo Laicher, Kerry Kern Woods, Brenda Weiss, Tami Green. Abstaining – Christine Palmer-Persen.
