Table of ContentsFlat-Coated Retriever Health Manual

The Sharon Myers Health Committee has worked long and hard to produce a health manual that can serve as an educational tool for members of the Flat-Coated Retriever Society of America. The manual and its contents are not meant in any way to take the place of professional veterinary care and guidance. This manual is not intended as veterinary advice and should not be relied on in place of veterinary consultation. This manual is intended to provide general background information on veterinary health issues, but neither the FCRSA nor the Sharon Myers Health Committee nor their individual members are offering veterinary advice.

We encourage all dog owners to seek veterinary attention for both routine and emergent health concerns. The most significant impact on your dog's health may well be the sound relationship developed between owner and veterinarian. Please use this manual as an adjunct only.

This manual contains articles which are copyright to the original authors. Reproduction of these materials may be prohibited by law. Obtain permission from the author before copying, reproducing, or retransmitting these materials.

We hope you find the manual to be informative as well as thought provoking. May your dogs be blessed with good health.
