The sponsors of the Magnum's Masked Man Award have announced the dates for the award have been changed according to the following schedule.
The award will be calculated for 2007 from January 1, 2007 to the start of the National Amateur All Age Championship.
In each subsequent year the Award will be calculated from the beginning of the National Amateur All Age Championship to the beginning of the same event the following year. Traditionally this is the Monday before Thanksgiving.
Owners who win the award are presented with a trophy and handlers are presented with a check worth at least $500.
We are working on a trophy to hang in the clubhouse in Michigan, which is the home of the National Gun Dog Championship with the winners names on it.
We run the award on donations from ABC club members and Bob Burchett donates at least $800 toward the award every year.
Purina sponsors the dinner the night of the award at the Gun Dog Championship.
