AN IMPORTANT SURVEY

FROM THE A.B.A. HEALTH AND RESEARCH COMMITTEE

The Health and Research Committee is asking for YOUR help. It is our intention to address some of the most pressing health concerns in our breed and also to develop an ongoing source of funding for research to develop ways to conquer these diseases, but we can’t do this without the cooperation of Bullmastiff fanciers across the country. We’ve devised this "user-friendly" questionnaire in an effort to identify the health issues that you, the Bullmastiff community, would like to see addressed, and we’re also working in conjunction with other breed clubs to coordinate our efforts and focus funds where they are most needed. Please take a moment, fill it out, and help us help our dogs.

Simply indicate those health issues that most concern you, using a scale of 1 to 5, with 1 being the most important.

Please feel free to suggest other topics that might be of interest. Also, it would be very helpful if you were to share with the Committee any personal experiences you may have had with the above issues. Remember, "anecdotal" evidence is often the strongest and most compelling reason for further investigation.
