Accompanying Events Back-to-back Hound Group shows by Mid-Atlantic Hound Association, May 9-10, 2009, on the same site. NBC supported entries both days, with exceptional trophies and social opportunities for beaglers.
This site offers easy access to the Raleigh Durham International Airport, served by all major airlines. Numerous hotel accommodations between the show site and airport will accept dogs and offer free airport shuttle service. Rates for accommodations range from $42 to $79 per night, and all locations are less than 5 miles from the show site.

All judging will be indoors in a building that easily accommodates specialty events. The part of the Fairground where the Holshouser Bldg is located is quiet and park-like, with lots of big trees outside for shade, grassy lawn, and nearby lake. Grooming will be located immediately adjacent to the show building under tenting. Site is ideal for working out of your vehicle under your EZ Up tent, as well. Convenient parking close to rings.
Tentatively, performance events, including Tracking, Obedience, Agility, and Rally, will be held on Sunday - Tuesday, May 3th-5th. Sweeps and Junior Showmanship will be scheduled for Wednesday, May 6th. Regular class judging will begin on Thursday, May 7th, and end with Inter-Variety Competition on Friday, May8th.
Lunches will be provided on site each day. Other events and dinners will be planned, as per NBC tradition.
