The meeting was called to order at 4:55 p.m. All members were present, Marcy Bankus, Judy Brown, Tami Green, Janet Ingram, Flo Laicher, Kathy Lee, Carrie Stuart Parks, Brenda Weiss, Bret Zacher. Judge's Selection Guidelines – Tami Green moved that we make a change to the Judge's Selection committee policy, adding that the Nomination process and preliminary ballot go through the Independent Tabulator for processing. The motion passed unanimously. Website – Bret Zacher moved that we proceed with the RFP process for establishment of the new website. The motion passed unanimously. Conference Calls – It was agreed that the Board will schedule quarterly conference calls on the second Thursday of each quarter, 8:00 p.m. eastern; with June, as the first call. June 11 th – 8:00 p.m. Eastern time September 10 th – 8:00 p.m. Eastern time December 10 th – 8:00 p.m. Eastern time Email voting – Flo Laicher moved that we continue to vote and communicate via email. The motion passed unanimously. New Business Board policies need to be added to the list of revisions. Treasurer Guidelines – A request for Audit Policies needs to be added to the guidelines. Audit guidelines also need to be added. Junior Awards – Tami Green suggested reducing the Junior's amount of $250, as well as suggesting that donations be requested to support the monetary portion of the program. Tami will contact AKC to verify the ability of GPCA to award a cash prize. The meeting was adjourned at 6:40 p.m.
